Lobuloplasty is a minor surgery that consists of the reconstruction of the holes in the ears caused by piercings or dilations. The reasons for performing this surgery are usually aesthetic in most cases, but there are also cases in which it is performed due to injuries.
Within lobuloplasty surgery, we find several types:
- Reconstruction of the earlobe by the use of earrings or dilations
- Removal of the skin duct associated with the piercing
- Increased thickness of the earlobe
- Earlobe reduction
The surgery lasts approximately 60 minutes, and is performed by Dr. Sergiu Vieru in consultation, with local anesthesia.

This surgery does not require hospitalization and its recovery is very fast, in a maximum of 5 days the patient will be able to reactivate his work and social life.
